It's called a Toilet....!

It's called a Toilet...!

Would one wear slippers instead of shoes on a suit? Would one wear a T-shirt instead of a formal suit for an interview? Then why do people forget to use public toilets instead of gardens? Why is it so difficult for them to understand the difference? O Lord that they may see...
Imagine a beautiful garden just like the ones in the picture. Imagine walking into this garden full of lush green grass and beautiful trees both dark and green alike decorated with pretty purple flowers scattered all over. What a beautiful day indeed to have this garden be a part of your day. Go deeper into this paradise and there inside in the bushes you find an ignorant fool urinating in this garden...what a sight!
On my way to work, I come across this garden everyday. It is more of a mini forest than a garden but it surely is absolutely beautiful to watch in the morning from sleepy eyes like mine. But to my horror, this beautiful scenary is spoilt by these lazy men who can't control their impatient bladders. How do they have the heart to ruin a perfectly good scenary like this one in the picture. Urinating was not enough, people litter here heartlessly without giving it a second thought of what's left in this metropolitan city. Notice in one of the pictures, how a plastic bottle has been thrown on the ground.
On my way back from the office, I pass by this garden again. I see a board overlooking the garden claiming this land as their property but nobody has been kept to monitor the entry of those 'bladder people'. In the evening, when I pass by this garden which is on my way to the railway station, this beautiful garden is stinking with the obnoxious smell of urine. A place one would like to enter and look around with peaceful eyes, by evening is now a place where people would rather rush by as swiftly as they can because the smell can make you faint. I do not understand why our people cannot respect their land - the land they walk on...
I hope our Indians one day learn to control their bladder issues and look for a toilet. There are plenty of public toilets in our city. It feels like these people feel like urinating by just looking at this garden. Please do not make this a pissing garden.....may be I should put this sign there outside but I am obviously not entitled to encroach a property that isn't looked after by anyone. Who would notice me putting a sign board there and then dare to stop me... if nobody bothers about the 'bladder people', why should I be of any difference?
Let me know your suggestions.... I can also call the property owners but wonder whether they would bother or their contact number might not even be functional, which is very common in India. Whatever contacts you are given are not even functional anymore. Who must you call for help???
I am not against my Indians but I do believe many of them need to be educated about the appropriate places to urinate and that place is commonly known as the TOILET.... Who would've known!

NEW BEGGAR ON THE BLOCK

Everyday, on my way to work, I see beggars although few on the side of the road starring at the people walking by so that someone with a merciful heart may drop in a few coins. Most of them I believe are not genuine beggars but if somebody is capable of identifying one, let everybody know so that we can be merciful to the right ones who won't misuse our hard earned money.

It is better to give them food than money. Extra food however is not something we always carry with us. Beggars prefer money so that they can buy something that is not useful to them like drugs, alcohol.... This is what I have heard.

I have noticed that a beggar won't stay for long in the same area. Not for more than a few days. They are consistent in being inconsistent, nomading from one area to another. After a few days, you get to see a new face. They are seasonal. Some don't stay during the rainy season while some sit right outside gates of Churches, Temples or Mosques so that devotees coming out offer some money out of kindness and compassion.

When I was a child, I used to think lending money to beggars is the right and righteous thing to do. As I grew up, I realised that we can be righteous just by feeding the hungry, giving water to the thirsty and clothing the naked. We are cheated every where and by many indeed who sit on the side of the road. The question is, who is genuine? Should we really not give so as to discourage them from begging or give and forget?

I have also read about the beggars who own houses and yet choose to beg. Probably one of the easiest and fastest ways of stealing money. They are indeed actors in the beggars' world of artists. Guilt, compassion and mercy are three main feelings a beggar can play on people for getting money from them. You feel guilty, you donate money. You feel compassion, you lend money. You have mercy, you give money to beggars who aren't really beggars or who knows.

A new beggar on the block shows that they roam from one place to another in search of target customers to make thumping profit from their silent and non-aggressive sales. They have television sets in their houses. This means they pay for electricity but don't pay taxes.

I do not mean to discourage the meaning of giving to beggars. All I mean is that give them something else other than money. I am sure they won't bite you if you give them food or water. They may either accept or reject but what's it to you, you can forget after giving; after all you did you duty and certainly gave the hungry food to eat and the thirsty to drink.
